Noel is a sweet 10" Waldorf-inspired doll made just for the upcoming holidays. She is crafted using beautiful light tan skin to compliment her candy cane-like locks. She has hair made out of handspun Merino wool, cotswold locks and mohair with glints of Angelina. Made in the Waldorf tradition, she is stuffed with clean, carded eco wool and covered with a high quality cotton interlock. Her eyes are hand-embroidered with a green cotton floss and she has a lightly applied rouge beewax on her cheeks to give her a rosy glow. She is dressed in a top with knickers set by Grandma TigerLilys and crocheted shoes by Daddy TigerLilys. Although her lovely hair has been pulled into two candy-cane pony tails on the wreath, in her photo alone you can see how lovely her looks in messy buns, too! This 12 inch straw wreath base has been triple hand wrapped by hand spun art yarn by various talented spinners on etsy (one of the peppermint yarns by http://www.etsy.com/shop/MagnoliaHandspun even matches Noel's hair exactly). Next, I added handmade fabric flowers in different colors of red, white, and a touch of green...handmade peppermints and sparkling gumdrop buttons...and the finishing touch of a gorgeous fuzzy art yarn that shimmers and sparkles!
Noel holds a handmade gingerbread man ornament (it smells of cinnamon) for your little girl to hang on her Christmas tree or keep as a toy for little Noel--I'd like to add that Noel is completely removable for playtime, and then when it's time for clean up simply place her back on the wreath for a gorgeous wall decoration.
